URL Shortening URL Parsing is Broken
When I select the Shorten URLs option while composing a tweet, the last character is omitted from the URL to be shortened causing a URL like http://place.edu to be shortened as http://place.ed/. I get the same result with tr.im and bit.ly.

Inappropriate?well it says on my mac "nambu 1.9.1.2b is currently the newest version available"...
I’m confused.

This was a configuration error on our end. Everyone can gran 1.9.1.3b now. -
Inappropriate?Yes there is a known problem with .edu. We will jump on these URL errors right away.

Inappropriate? When I enter a URL into the tweet box and then click to shorten it, Nambu creates a tr.im URL but doesn't change the URL in the tweet box. I have to go to the tr.im site to get the shortened URL.
I've had this occur twice so far. The first time, I had entered two URLs in the box. Both tr.ims were created but neither URL was updated in the tweet box. The second time, I had entered both the text of my tweet and the URL to be shortened then deleted everything except the URL before shortening. Again, a tr.im was created but the URL in the tweet box was not updated.

Can you tell me what the URLs were you were trying to shorten that failed? Any others besides .php? -
The only parsing problem I encountered was with the .edu domain. All of the other links were correctly shortened, and all of the links appeared in my tr.im account. The problem was of the long URLs not being replaced with the shortened versions. This occurred for:
http://scienceblogs.com/whitecoatunde... [.php]
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/st... [parameter]
http://www.wired.com/medtech/drugs/ma... [parameter]
http://www.iq.harvard.edu/ [.edu] -
Just experienced this with another URL:
http://www.snomnh.ou.edu/events/weddi... [.htm] was shortened as
http://www.snomnh.ou.ed/ -
Inappropriate?A few seconds ago, I used the link http://www.google.com/appsstatus#di=1&hl=en and use the "Shorten URLs" button. The result was http://tr.im/zBXJ&hl=en << is that right? Obviously, tr.im can handle additional parameters (like tinyurl), but is that really a feature or a bug?
