Add Support for Twitter Lists
I would like to see a Nambu implementation of the twitter Lists, instead of the new App only groups, this would allow me to view my twitter account anywhere

Inappropriate? We would love to add to support for Lists, and will as soon as Twitter decides to make that possible by releasing the APIs to do it.
Keep in mind that Lists are not Groups, however. -
Inappropriate?Nambu beta get search keywords of the Twitter.com, It's very good to me.
and now twitter.com show group features like Nambu.
I think Nambu get group list from twitter.com like search keywords.

Add Support for Twitter Lists. -
Inappropriate? We have added the ability to follow Lists that you are subscribed in the update 1.9.2.9b. I will leave this open until we have added all the functions needed for complete Lists support.

Inappropriate?Hi Eric!
Kudos on adding the ability to follow lists. I also like the combined view so I can just follow the 93 people I've put in lists instead of all the ~500 people I follow.
Two features I am missing and would suggest you consider implementing are:
1) ability to filter by two or more lists at a time. For example, I have lists for Africa, Social Media, Charities, Interesting - it would be immensely useful to filter by Africa+Charities for example.
2) ability to add user to lists while browsing tweets. Perhaps similar to the twitter lists UI to select/deselect lists a user is in.
Thanks much for all you are doing,
Tobias
I’m happy and thankful

We will definitely add support for #2. #1 is more tricky, and it is drawback of our implementation currently, selection of two or more specific lists, not just one or all. -
thanks eric - this sounds promising. I'm excited about the ability to add users to lists while browsing tweets.
I hope some way of filtering by two or more lists will be possible somehow, even if just thru the twitter site. I'm also keen on creating RSS feeds filtered by two or more lists. -
Inappropriate?I'm glad to see the support for Lists moving along. In my copy Lists only seem to update when I restart Nambu. Once I've marked all the tweets in a particular list read, no new tweets show up in the list until I restart, even though the new tweets are clearly visible in Home.

This is a problem with Lists: users dont really understand them or the limitations Twitter places on them via the API.
Tweets in your Home timeline have nothing to do with Lists. You may follow people directly that are in Lists you subscribe to, but Nambu has no way to know that until it polls the Lists, which we do a lot less frequently than your main timeline, again, because of API limits.
If you are using Lists to group your Home timeline, again, Nambu has no way to know that, and has to poll the Lists to see it, and them mark items as seen. Lists are really only for following categories of Twitter users, not much else. -
Thats really too bad. It seems to me that lists should be the perfect server side implementation of groups. -
Thanks for explaining this, Eric. I wonder if then you shouldn't be treating lists differently in the UI. I like being able to see the tweets of people in one or all of my lists. However, if the intended usage of lists is more about organizing and displaying together lists of twitterers, then it might be more in line with your UI and how the API works to display lists of people rather than tweets filtered by one or all lists.

Inappropriate?I am going to close this out. There is another item added in regards to specifically expanding Lists support to include add/remove functions, which the main stiff missing at this point.
