Add More Granular Undo to Composition
I badly need more granular (or at least functional) Undo with the compose area. In older versions of Nambu, and continuing in the current beta, when I type something, or cut something, and then hit command-Z, my entire message is erased.
What I intend to happen is undoing the last action, such as a cut. Or paste. Or the last few words typed. I often spend some time getting the tweet just right. I do not want this effort wasted.
The erasing happens without warning and without recourse. This is seriously frustrating. Please address.
Ditto for the Escape key, which makes the compose window go away. I don't mind that it works without warning, but if it does, it should try to save the message I'm writing, just in case it was a miskey -- and it often is.

Inappropriate?Oh my gosh, I'm glad someone else posted this because it's driving me *crazy!* I'm very glad to hear it's planned, I can certainly live with it until you get it fixed.
I’m excited

Inappropriate? All undo does is erase the window. I thought this kind of functionality would be baked in to the controls provided by the Cocoa SDK.
This is a serious problem, as its rather annoying having to retype an entire tweet just because you undid a word cut.

Undo in tweet text area broken.

Inappropriate? We added more granular undo and removed the Escape hokey for clearing the input area. We did not add character by character undo/redo however to remain consistent with Mac Mail, Textedit, etc.
The company thinks
this is one of the best points
