Inappropriate?Hey guys, Facebook support would be awsome but if you don't put it in there a work around is to add the 'Selective Twitter' application to your Facebook account. Then all you need to do to post from twitter is to ad #fb to the end of the tweets you want of Facebook
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate? The #fb cuts it if all you want is to post to FB but we really need the full FB timeline/wall
I’m excited

this is one of the best points

Inappropriate?Viewing and replying to comments would also be helpful. TweetDeck and Seesmic currently offer this functionality.
-
And the ability to like/unlike a post. -
Inappropriate? And, the ability to see profiles and photo albums within Nambu. Would love to not have to visit the Facebook website. :-)
-
Inappropriate?Definitely add Facebook. It was "sort of" there in previous builds, why not include it?
-
Facebook is working now in development but we have no timeline for releasing it yet. It will indeed come. -
Inappropriate?I don't like this proposal. Nambu does a good job at managing and accessing Twitter. Do we really need to add all the other social networking programs/services to Nambu? I fear that adding so much will lessen the quality of a great program already. I see something like Socialite, which is a good program, but has way too many features. Nambu is streamlined and easy to use, two great strengths in my opinion.
I’m not wanting this feature.
-
You don't have to use it if you don't want to. The functionality was all but there in previous versions of Nambu which were very close to the functionality we have now. -
I realize I don't have to use it (and I won't be using that feature should it be added). I am a little late into the Nambu game but I like the program and it has been the best twitter client I've used so far. My comment was just what it was, a comment. Software often gets bogged down with everyone trying to add all the connections and "bells and whistles" they can. I would hate to see Nambu try to do too much and not do anything well. Just voicing concern. -
I get the impression that Eric W. seems to have a pretty good sense of that balance and how important it is. I predict Nambu will remain the best twitter client even with added (optional) functionality. -
Inappropriate? With the latest beta update we have started our Facebook integration. Currently Facebook it only available as an account to send status updates to, but we will be expanding it further soon.
-
Well, I can add my facebook-account, but it is not shown in the sidebar and I can see no updates in the combined view!? And yes, it's the most current version of Nambu (1.9.4.2b). -
Hmm. In the note you replied to it says just that: you can only send updates to it. We will have in the sidebar and combined view soon. -
Ups, absolutely my fault... sorry and thanks for the fast clarification! :) -
Inappropriate?Uh ... how do I post to FB in Version 1.9.4.7b (1745). It certainly isn't obvious.
I’m confused
-
You select it from the account popup button in the bottom left of the tweet composition area. Your Facebook will be listed there. You know you are on your Facebook account if the counter changes to 255. This is *nowhere* near finished. -
Inappropriate?Ah, I get it now. So, I can't post the same status update to FB and Twitter, without posting it twice?
-
Correct. We do not yet offer cross-posting. -
Inappropriate? This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
Facebook news feed, status updates, photos integrated ASAP :-).
